Werkstudent:in Simulation & Application Engineering (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential engineering software client seeking a working student to support their simulation and application engineering team. You will contribute to real simulation projects and gain hands-on experience with modern CAE processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the team with preparation, execution, and evaluation of simulation projects in plastic injection molding
• Assisting with internal simulation projects and client-facing technical services
• Creating and conducting benchmark simulations
• Analyzing, interpreting, and documenting simulation results
• Contributing to the development of learning and training content, including online academy materials, training documents, tutorials, and technical presentations
• Supporting technical customer inquiries by assisting with support cases, tracking customer requests, and preparing technical information and solutions

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a currently enrolled student in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field. You should bring:

• Technical understanding and genuine interest in simulation and injection molding technology
• Structured, independent, and reliable work approach
• Strong German and English language skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Ideally, initial experience with CAD or simulation software
• Desirable: familiarity with AI tools or coding agents such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot
