Freseniusmedicalcare is hiring an Outpatient Registered Nurse – RN – Dialysis to join our clinical team in Harris, Humble, TX. This is a full-time position where you'll provide direct patient care and clinical support in our outpatient dialysis center.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented RN to deliver high-quality dialysis care in a busy outpatient setting. As an Outpatient Registered Nurse specializing in dialysis, you'll be central to our patients' treatment experience, working closely with nephrologists, technicians, and the broader care team to ensure safe, effective renal replacement therapy. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on patients' health outcomes while working in a structured, supportive clinical environment near Harris and Humble.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patients during dialysis treatments, recording vital signs and clinical observations
  • Manage and maintain vascular access (fistulae, grafts, catheters) according to established protocols
  • Administer medications and manage anticoagulation therapy as prescribed by the care team
  • Educate patients on medication adherence, dietary management, fluid restrictions, and self-care between treatments
  • Collaborate with nephrologists and the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical records and comprehensive charting in full compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Respond to patient concerns and troubleshoot clinical issues in real time during treatment sessions
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a sterile treatment environment

Requirements

  • Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
  • Knowledge of dialysis procedures and chronic kidney disease management
  • Strong clinical assessment and nursing judgment skills
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical setting
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional standards
  • Experience in nephrology or dialysis patient care preferred
