We are representing a confidential Engineering AI organization based in Paris that is transforming how elite engineering teams design and develop next-generation products. Our client works with leading automotive, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing companies to accelerate development cycles and embed AI-driven workflows at the core of engineering operations.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor who bridges engineering credibility with strategic influence. You'll work directly with engineering teams, managers, and executives to identify high-impact AI use cases, define technical roadmaps, and drive the complete pre-sales cycle from discovery through signed statements of work. This role demands both technical depth and the ability to build long-term account relationships through well-scoped problem framing and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Position the platform as a strategic partner across engineering teams and executive leadership
• Lead structured discovery sessions to identify technically feasible and commercially viable use cases
• Define AI strategy and technical roadmaps for each account, translating platform capabilities into multi-horizon vision
• Create and deliver client-tailored demos and presentations grounded in real engineering workflows
• Develop and co-own Statements of Work with deep understanding of technical implementation
• Prepare and facilitate Steering Committees that connect engineering challenges to business outcomes
• Drive user adoption and engagement across technical users, managers, and designers
• Identify and shape upsell and expansion opportunities from account insights and commercial signals
• Collaborate with sales teams on deal advancement and with engineering teams to ensure smooth pre-sales to delivery transitions
• Surface client insights to inform product roadmap priorities

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in mechanical, aerospace, automotive, industrial, or related field
• Solid understanding of CAD and CAE workflows, including bottlenecks and transformation opportunities with AI
• Experience in client-facing roles such as pre-sales, solutions consulting, technical account management, or engineering consulting
• Professional fluency in French and English
• Working knowledge of Python and modern development practices for creating demos and prototypes using AI-assisted tools
• Conceptual understanding of AI and machine learning applied to engineering contexts
• Natural curiosity and people-driven approach that builds trust through genuine interest in client challenges
• Proactive and commercially driven mindset with ability to spot opportunities and bring structure to ambiguity
• Confident communication skills for owning executive conversations and driving strategic narrative
• Comfortable challenging assumptions and guiding clients toward better outcomes

Highly Valued Experience:

• Deep hands-on simulation experience with full pipelines from CAD to post-processing, solver expertise, and workflow automation
• Strong programming skills in Python with ability to build data pipelines and work in ML/DL frameworks including model training and deployment
• Ability to conduct deep technical discovery into customer toolchains, data environments, and simulation setups
• Capability to build end-to-end engineering workflow demos from scratch using agentic development tools
• Strategic or technical consulting background with digital transformation experience
• Previous experience with engineering software platforms (Ansys, Altair, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, Autodesk)
• Background in ML/DL research or development in engineering contexts
• Experience automating CAE workflows through scripting, batch processing, or surrogate model pipelines
