We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization that is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across an assigned territory in the USA. This is a remote position requiring significant travel (50%+) to meet with enterprise clients and partners.
Our client is a leader in network detection and response solutions, helping organizations defend against sophisticated cyber threats while maintaining visibility across complex hybrid environments. This role is perfect for a sales professional who understands the modern security operations landscape and can articulate how advanced visibility platforms drive measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets by closing new accounts and expanding revenue within existing customer installations
- Identify and develop opportunities through prospecting, cold calls, lead follow-up, and face-to-face meetings
- Align with senior executives to understand business, decision-making, and financing processes within your territory
- Present and demonstrate security solutions to customers, articulating the value of decision-grade intelligence for security outcomes
- Help customers transition from reactive, disconnected alerts to proactive, autonomous workflows within their security operations center
- Identify opportunities to address modern threats, including AI-powered attacks, identity-based attacks, and shadow AI usage
- Prepare and implement strategic sales account plans identifying business growth opportunities
- Collaborate with channel partners, resellers, and internal teams including field sales engineers to drive revenue
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts for your territory
- Provide customer and competitor feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategies
What We're Looking For
- Four-year degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or related discipline
- Five years of technology sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets
- Three years of security sales experience, preferably with NDR or complex security solutions
- Deep understanding of the modern SOC landscape, specifically the shift toward autonomous security operations and the need for run-time asset visibility
- Demonstrated technical acumen to articulate complex value propositions in a differentiated and compelling manner
- Proven ability to secure meetings and close deals with senior-level executives
- Existing senior-level relationships at enterprise accounts within your assigned territory
- Experience mapping sales strategy to business outcomes like reduced mean time to detect/respond and improved security ROI
- Understanding of enterprise networking technologies: switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimization
- Background in software/hardware sales and distribution with technology companies
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in fast-paced, high-stress environments with predictable, reliable attendance
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

Pay
Our client offers a base salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 depending on location and experience, with a 50/50 commission split. This is a full-time, remote position.
