About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential software organization in their search for a Senior Software Architect to join a remote team. Our client is rebuilding a critical platform with AI-native principles, where AI tooling acts as a daily partner from design through verification. This is not a role for someone collecting AI credentials—it's for an architect who already uses AI in their daily work, has formed clear judgment about its appropriate use, and maintains accountability for outputs.
Responsibilities
- Own architecture, design, AI-led implementation and validation in cloud-based, multi-threaded, multi-server environments
- Lead technical decisions on architectural direction using collaborative, team-based approaches
- Ensure architecture accounts for security, scalability, compatibility, maintainability, and responsible AI use at build-time and run-time
- Perform testing, fix defects, and help resolve customer support cases
- Ensure team adherence to architectural direction and standards
- Mentor and coach team members in architecture practices, AI-led delivery techniques, and validation discipline
- Liaise with Product Management during planning sessions
- Set intent, orchestrate implementation, and validate AI-drafted code, tests, and decisions
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Solid experience developing applications in C# using Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
- Proven track record breaking down complex requirements into secure, scalable, resilient system designs
- Experience with multi-tenant cloud solutions
- Experience working in collaborative multidisciplinary teams
- Experience creating maintainable code using source control (DevOps, Git, or similar)
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and product quality disciplines
- Solid understanding of network security, authentication, and authorization principles
- Experience working with databases using Entity Framework or similar
- Good knowledge of SOLID principles
- Experience creating RESTful APIs and ensuring API extensibility
- Recent practical experience using AI tooling (Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent) in daily work—not just experimentation. You must be comfortable describing what worked, what didn't, and what you decided
- Output discipline: you remain accountable for architecture you produce, regardless of what helped you produce it
- Comfort with probabilistic systems and clear judgment about when to use AI in high-trust domains
- Learning velocity: able to ramp on new AI tools or techniques in days, not months
- Effective communication via email, instant message, phone, and video conferencing
- Fierce pursuit of product quality and excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Security best practices (OWASP top ten)
- Azure SQL Server
- DevOps, Pipelines, TeamCity, GitHub
- Windows services
- Experience using AI tooling specifically in architect roles—for design review, ADR drafting, threat modeling, contract design, or similar
- Familiarity with AI-native software patterns (agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses, prompt-and-response evaluation, evidence packets)
Important note: Our client does not require you to be an AI expert. They require curiosity, recent practical use, output discipline, and the judgment to ship under accountability.
How We Work With You
When you apply through Get A Job.ai, our talent team will screen your qualifications and experience. If there's a strong match, we'll submit your profile to our client for consideration. The final interview stage includes a working session using AI tooling—the aim is to see how you think, set intent, validate outputs, and make decisions, not to test memorized knowledge.
Please do not contact our client directly. All applications and communications should go through Get A Job.ai to ensure proper representation.
