About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential global technology organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale applications that power critical business operations across multiple continents. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary technology department with teams in major tech hubs worldwide, contributing to platforms that serve both internal users and external clients.

Responsibilities
- Engage in all phases of application development with focus on coding, debugging, and security compliance throughout the software lifecycle
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code and APIs supporting both web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities
- Develop automation tests and collaborate with automation engineers for comprehensive regression testing
- Provide personalized technical support to users as needed
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve backend infrastructure
- Document application support procedures and operational workflows
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support their professional development
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of software development experience with focus on building scalable and reliable systems
- Extensive knowledge of.NET C#, LINQ, MS SQL, Entity Framework and related technologies
- Proficiency with version control software such as Git
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean code practices
- Experience with web service protocols including REST and API design for extensibility and integration
- Proven ability debugging complex applications
- Experience with Agile development and project management methodologies
- Database development experience in SQL Server or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Docker
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments
- Experience with Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ, and Quartz is a plus
