About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking an AI Engineer to join their research and development team in Spain. Our client develops enterprise-grade wireless network management solutions used by organizations worldwide to plan, optimize, and troubleshoot mission-critical connectivity infrastructure.

In this position, you will work at the intersection of spatial AI, computer vision, and wireless systems—exploring innovative approaches to indoor environment capture, 3D mapping, and network optimization. You'll translate cutting-edge research in LiDAR processing, point cloud analysis, and modern ML/LLM techniques into production-grade systems running on high-performance cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build real-time 3D spatial processing pipelines using sensor fusion (LiDAR, camera feeds, spatial telemetry) for point cloud filtering, segmentation, and layout analysis
• Develop computer vision models and algorithms to extract structural features, recognize building geometry, and generate accurate 2D/3D floorplans from raw visual and spatial data
• Translate research prototypes and AI/ML/LLM concepts into high-performance, maintainable production Python code with direct ownership of core implementations
• Architect, deploy, and manage multi-model inference pipelines on AWS SageMaker and NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for low-latency, high-throughput serving
• Build end-to-end MLOps and data engineering pipelines including synthetic data generation, active annotation, dataset versioning, CI/CD, and real-time telemetry for continuous model monitoring
• Collaborate with software engineering, research, and product teams to transition prototype features into scalable, market-ready releases

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• Production-level mastery of Python with working knowledge of C++ or Swift, emphasizing clean code, modular design, and performance
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV, Open3D, or PCL (Point Cloud Library) for point cloud processing, spatial segmentation, feature extraction, and 2D/3D transformations
• Deep experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, plus proficiency in Scikit-learn for traditional machine learning and statistical analysis
• Proven experience building low-latency serving infrastructure using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server and managing model workflows on AWS SageMaker
• Familiarity with model optimization techniques including quantization, pruning, and compilers (ONNX Runtime, TensorRT) to meet production latency requirements
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, 3D geometry, coordinate systems, multi-sensor fusion, and awareness of modern LLM/multimodal applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of RF environment simulation, indoor spatial coverage modeling, or wireless network planning principles
• Experience optimizing or deploying vision models on iOS devices using CoreML, ARKit, or Metal
