Community Outreach Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential ticketing technology client in their search for a Community Outreach Specialist. This is a part-time independent contractor role focused on connecting with season ticket holders through online communities and social platforms. You'll be the face of outreach for an innovative ticket marketplace app, building genuine relationships and helping people discover a better way to sell their seats.

This contract position offers approximately 20 hours per week at $25/hour, with a 3-month minimum commitment and strong potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with Facebook groups, Reddit communities, forums, and other online spaces where season ticket holders gather
• Reach out directly to season ticket holders through authentic, value-driven conversations—no spamming or generic messaging
• Build trust and credibility within these communities by participating genuinely and providing helpful information
• Guide interested prospects through the app download and listing process
• Maintain your own outreach pipeline with minimal supervision
• Provide weekly reports to stakeholders on outreach activity, responses, conversions, and learnings
• Surface new communities and channels as you discover what resonates with this audience

What We're Looking For

• A natural people-person who genuinely enjoys starting conversations with strangers online
• Active familiarity with Facebook groups, Reddit, and other community platforms—you know how these spaces work
• Excellent written communication skills that sound authentic and human, not corporate or scripted
• Self-directed and organized; able to manage your own workflow and prioritize effectively
• Genuine interest in sports, live events, or the ticket resale industry is a strong advantage
• Prior experience in outreach, sales development, community management, or brand ambassador roles is a plus
• Must be based in the United States

Pay
