Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization in Munich that needs an experienced production planning coordinator. In this role, you will:
- Create and manage cross-site production plans and master schedules, considering capacity constraints and delivery timelines
- Review customer orders for feasibility, manage scheduling within the ERP system, and monitor manufacturing resources and production workflows
- Optimize inventory levels, disposition parameters, and stocking concepts for both in-house manufactured and externally sourced components
- Coordinate requirement dates, change processes, and customer complaints in close collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and production preparation teams
- Analyze capacity risks, develop forecasts, and support continuous improvement of planning and control processes
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience as a production planner, manufacturing planner, production controller, or in production preparation is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of order planning, manufacturing control, and production and supply-chain processes
- Proficiency with SAP and MS Office applications
- Analytical thinking, excellent organizational and coordination abilities, structured and solution-oriented working style, and strong communication skills
- German language proficiency required for this Munich-based position
