Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization in Munich seeking a Quality Inspector for Incoming Goods. In this role, you will:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods, components, and assemblies according to established quality standards
- Perform dimensional, surface, and coating inspections using measurement and testing equipment, documenting all results
- Review delivery documentation, prepare defect reports, and record quality-relevant data in SAP and CAQ systems
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers on quality matters, escalating issues to department leadership as needed
- Contribute to product quality assurance through timely and cost-effective work practices
What We're Looking For
Our client requires candidates with:
- Completed vocational training as Industrial Mechanic, Construction Mechanic, Machinist, Metal Worker, or comparable metalworking qualification
- Ideally, professional experience as Quality Inspector, Quality Assurance Specialist, Incoming Goods Inspector, or Measurement Technician
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and manufacturing processes such as welding, casting, forging, or forming
- Experience working with SAP and ideally a CAQ system, plus proficient use of measurement and testing equipment
- Careful and structured work approach, quality consciousness, strong communication skills, and team orientation
- German language proficiency required for this Munich-based position
