Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential organization in Munich seeking an IT Security Specialist focused on macro security policies. In this role, you will support the security of Microsoft Office environments and evaluate existing macro solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and assessing Office macros and VBA applications for potential security risks
  • Developing and optimizing security concepts for Excel, Access, and VBA, implementing them via Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Establishing and advancing macro security policies, including deployment of signed macros and blocking unsafe content
  • Supporting technical implementation of security measures in close coordination with IT teams and business units
  • Evaluating and securing Microsoft Office environments against macro-based threats

What We're Looking For

  • Completed training or degree in IT (e.g., IT specialist, IT security specialist, system administrator, or comparable qualification)
  • Strong knowledge of macro security policies and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Practical experience with VBA/macro development is highly desirable
  • Structured, analytical, and responsible working style with high security awareness
  • Team-oriented with strong initiative
  • Excellent German language skills required
