Software Verification Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software services organization seeking a Software Verification Engineer to join their team remotely in Romania. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity and reliability of client software through systematic verification processes. You'll work with diverse programming languages and technologies, following technical documentation to achieve successful software builds and validate functionality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct verification of customer software using provided technical documentation
• Achieve software builds across various programming languages and environments
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve build issues to ensure software meets quality standards
• Perform feature testing where required to confirm the built software behaves as documented
• Analyze software requirements and technical documentation to understand build processes and dependencies
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand requirements and provide updates
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming languages relevant to software verification
• Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes and practices

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac environment fundamentals
• Basic understanding of popular backend languages including Python, Java, NodeJS, and PHP
• Prior experience or understanding of database and server configuration (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL)
• Prior experience or understanding of Git version control
• Ability to follow technical build documentation accurately and methodically

Beneficial Experience:

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Basic knowledge of front-end languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of API configuration
• Experience with various build tools such as msbuild, webpack, maven, and similar
