Overview
We are representing a confidential technology client seeking Mid-Level and Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers with strong back-end expertise. This is a fully remote position available in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, or Washington.
Our client is an established organization with over 25 years of profitable operations in the streaming technology space. You'll join the Member Accounts Engineering team, working on scalable applications that power core user experiences across the platform.
Responsibilities
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications
- Design and build scalable, reliable back-end applications and services
- Participate in application and system architecture decisions, technical design, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop maintainable, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to deliver sustainable, scalable solutions
- Elevate engineering best practices through code reviews, mentoring, and innovation
- Share knowledge with fellow engineers, solve technical challenges, and improve development processes
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience with MariaDB, MySQL, or another relational database
- Competence with PHP
- Experience with application and system design and architecture
- Proficiency with Git and version control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, JUnit, or similar)
- Experience delivering software iteratively using Agile methodologies
- Self-driven problem solver passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong collaborator who treats software development as a team sport
- Lifelong learner who embraces new technologies and shares knowledge
