Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential robotics organization seeking a talented software engineer to develop cutting-edge algorithms for robotic grasping and manipulation in industrial settings. In this role, you will:
- Design and implement robust, production-ready algorithms for robotic grasping and manipulation systems
- Identify opportunities to apply advanced robotics research to solve practical industrial challenges
- Transform complex technical requirements into reliable, functional solutions for manufacturing environments
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of core robotics software frameworks
- Integrate and validate solutions across diverse industrial tasks in collaboration with roboticists and application engineers
- Build intuitive software abstractions that enable users to execute complex manipulation tasks without requiring deep technical expertise
What we're looking for
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in robotic manipulation
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, spatial transformations, and rigid body dynamics
- Direct experience testing and iterating on physical robots in hardware environments
- 3+ years of professional experience programming robotics software in C++ and Python
- Proven track record of shipping production-quality code
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in Robotics, Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or related field with focus on robotic manipulation
- Deep expertise with machine learning frameworks such as JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Full-stack robotics experience spanning kinematics, motion generation, system integration, and testing
