Salesforce Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital consulting organization seeking a Salesforce Project Manager for a permanent remote position based in the Philippines. This role requires availability during US business hours and involves collaboration with global delivery teams.

Our client specializes in enterprise technology implementations and digital transformation. As Project Manager, you will own day-to-day execution of Salesforce consulting engagements, managing project schedules, budgets, resource planning, and delivery coordination. You'll work closely with engagement managers, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of Salesforce implementation and consulting engagements from planning through delivery
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery commitments
• Manage project financials including budgeted hours, actual hours, forecasted hours, and estimate-to-complete tracking
• Monitor resource utilization and burn rates against approved project budgets and statements of work
• Identify budget and schedule variances early, communicating potential overruns proactively
• Develop and maintain resource plans based on project scope, timeline, required skills, and delivery needs
• Coordinate resource assignments and identify capacity or skill gaps impacting delivery
• Manage project scope against contractual commitments and initiate change control when needed
• Maintain and actively manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies with clear mitigation plans
• Facilitate project governance activities including kickoffs, planning sessions, status meetings, and stakeholder updates
• Produce accurate weekly status reports covering schedule, accomplishments, budget, risks, issues, and decisions
• Coordinate delivery activities across solution architects, consultants, developers, business analysts, quality engineers, client teams, and third-party partners
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as required
• Coordinate testing, UAT, release readiness, deployment, and go-live activities from a project management perspective
• Support project closure activities including deliverable completion, financial reconciliation, and lessons learned

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of project management, technology delivery, or professional services experience
• Proven experience managing technology implementation or digital transformation projects in consulting or client-facing environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets using labor hours, resource forecasts, burn rates, and estimate-to-complete methodologies
• Track record of identifying budget variances and implementing corrective actions before exceeding planned hours
• Experience developing and managing project schedules, resource plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery forecasts
• Strong understanding of project scope management and change-control processes
• Experience managing risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans throughout project lifecycles
• Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams with both functional and technical resources
• Ability to produce and present project status reports to client and internal stakeholders
• Experience working with statements of work, project assumptions, deliverables, and contractual commitments
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and workstreams simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate project challenges clearly and objectively
• Strong relationship-building skills with clients, delivery teams, leadership, and partners
• Problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively within globally distributed delivery teams
• Experience delivering Salesforce or other enterprise CRM/CX implementations strongly preferred
• Professional certifications strongly valued: PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Salesforce Administrator, or other recognized project management and delivery certifications
