Hospitalist Physician – Fully Remote | Upto $170/hr

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in a search for experienced Hospitalist Physicians to support clinical documentation review and AI evaluation work. This is a fully remote contract opportunity for US-based physicians with active inpatient experience.

Our client is developing advanced clinical documentation tools and needs board-certified hospitalists to evaluate AI-generated outputs against real-world hospital medicine standards. You'll work independently on your own schedule while providing critical clinical expertise to shape next-generation healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient documentation including H&Ps, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries for accuracy, completeness, and clinical soundness
• Evaluate AI-generated inpatient notes and summaries against established hospitalist documentation standards
• Annotate inpatient encounter data following detailed guidelines to ensure precision and clinical validity
• Identify and flag omissions, hallucinations, clinical inaccuracies, and documentation gaps in AI-generated outputs
• Provide structured, written feedback to engineering and product teams for actionable improvements
• Contribute expert input on annotation guidelines, documentation standards, and edge-case clinical scenarios

What We're Looking For

Required:

• MD degree with hospitalist or internal medicine specialty
• 2+ years of post-residency clinical experience
• Current inpatient practice
• US-based location
• Hands-on experience writing and reviewing H&Ps, progress notes, or discharge summaries

Preferred:

• 5+ years of post-residency experience
• Familiarity with Epic or similar EHR systems
• Prior experience with AI/ML annotation or model evaluation work
