Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst. This role provides subject matter expertise in charge capture, chargemaster application, compliance, and reimbursement. You'll lead audits, support governance, and drive revenue optimization initiatives across clinical departments while ensuring alignment with regulatory and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor departmental charge capture accuracy through analysis of work queues and reconciliation reports
• Identify charge capture gaps, workflow issues, and systemic revenue loss risks
• Provide guidance, training, and education to clinical departments on charge capture best practices
• Partner with chargemaster teams on updates and recommend improvements
• Conduct pre- and post-bill audits to validate charge mappings and billing rules
• Analyze trends and root causes impacting reimbursement, compliance, and financial performance
• Quantify revenue at risk and assess the financial impact of charge discrepancies
• Develop corrective action plans to optimize revenue initiatives
• Ensure CMS and regulatory compliance across revenue cycle operations
• Support annual CPT/HCPCS updates and implementation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Coding, IT, Finance, Compliance, and leadership to resolve issues
• Support governance committees with data-driven insights
• Develop reports and dashboards to deliver recommendations to leadership

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of relevant certifications and demonstrated work experience)
• 5+ years of hospital revenue cycle, charge capture, or chargemaster experience
• Advanced knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and reimbursement methodologies
• Expertise in chargemaster structure and clinical application
• Strong auditing and compliance background
• Ability to analyze financial impact of charge issues and revenue opportunities
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong communication skills across clinical and executive teams
• Knowledge of CMS, Medicaid, and commercial payer rules

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: CPC, CCS, RHIT/RHIA, or Epic Certification
• Experience with workflow redesign and optimization
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting tools
• Proven ability to lead training and education initiatives
