Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Team Leader for their order-picking operations in Neuss. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide your team through shift operations while actively participating in the daily work on the warehouse floor. You will ensure orders are accurately processed, team members understand their tasks, and operations run smoothly—including in cold storage areas maintained at 4–6 degrees Celsius.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Leading your team during assigned shifts and setting the example through active participation
• Retrieving goods, combining items, and preparing packages for dispatch
• Operating forklift equipment and providing operational support across the floor
• Coordinating and delegating tasks based on team members' capabilities
• Planning shift schedules, assignments, and work priorities
• Identifying disruptions early and implementing corrective measures
• Optimizing straightforward work processes to maintain smooth operations
• Monitoring the quality of picked orders
• Documenting relevant processes and maintaining clear oversight

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading and managing teams
• Practical background in warehousing, logistics, or order-picking operations
• Proficiency operating forklift equipment
• Very good German language skills
• Reliable, structured, and solution-oriented work style
• Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation system

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €16 - €18 per hour plus shift premiums

This is a full-time position based in Neuss, Nordrhein-Westfalen.
