Praktikant Finance (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Finance Intern to join their team in Saarbrücken. In this role, you will work closely with the finance department and gain hands-on experience across accounting, financial reporting, and controlling functions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting core financial accounting processes and monthly closing activities
• Assisting with preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Performing account reconciliations and maintaining subsidiary ledgers
• Contributing to financial reports, data analysis, and management presentations
• Participating in cross-functional finance projects focused on process optimization and digitalization
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates who are currently enrolled university students completing a mandatory internship as part of their degree program. The internship duration is 3–4 months, with an immediate start available.

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable program with focus on Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Tax
• Strong interest in financial and accounting topics
• Proficient use of MS Office applications
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical aptitude
• Hands-on mentality with ability to work independently and take ownership
• Team-oriented approach to collaboration
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
