AP/AR Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in their search for an AP/AR Lead based in the Philippines. This role sits at the heart of the finance function, overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable operations while managing a small team of two direct reports.

You'll drive accuracy across the books, ensure timely customer collections and vendor payments, and partner closely with the wider Financial Operations team to support monthly close and strategic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day AR and AP operations, working closely with your AR Expert and AP Coordinator
• Prepare monthly AR ageing reports for executive leadership, including plans to address overdue accounts
• Review and approve weekly payment files and funding summaries before final sign-off
• Identify at-risk customer accounts early and coordinate with customer-facing teams
• Support accurate and timely month-end close processes, escalating risks proactively to the Head of Financial Operations
• Continuously improve AR and AP workflows, removing inefficiencies and bottlenecks
• Build and maintain KPIs and reporting that keep the finance function running smoothly

• Proven experience managing AR and AP functions in a scaling business
• Leadership skills: you coach, give clear feedback, and aren't afraid of difficult conversations
• Calm and organized under pressure, especially during month-end close cycles
• Comfortable stepping between hands-on detail work and high-level reporting for executives
• Ability to spot risks early and communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Experience with payment platforms (Tipalti or similar) is a plus
• A collaborative mindset and a desire to work for an organization with a strong mission
