Responsibilities

• Design clinical studies and develop comprehensive statistical analysis plans that maximize data utility and meet protocol requirements
• Perform statistical analyses on clinical and pharmacokinetic data using contemporary methods and appropriate software platforms
• Generate randomization schedules and interpret statistical results from pharmacokinetic, clinical, and pre-clinical studies
• Prepare documentation for final reports including narrative text, tables, graphs, and analysis outputs
• Supervise and train less experienced biostatistics and pharmacokinetic personnel on advanced techniques
• Collaborate with clients, bioanalytical teams, and clinical personnel on study design, data interpretation, and analytical approaches
• Apply independent judgment to solve technical problems and identify potential quality issues in statistical deliverables
• Contribute to scientific literature and intellectual property development as a recognized statistical leader
• Lead interdisciplinary project teams and provide statistical expertise to method development and business initiatives

What We're Looking For

• PhD or postgraduate degree with scientific focus preferred; Bachelor's degree with scientific focus and 12+ years of relevant biostatistics experience required
• Deep understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines and FDA guidance documents pertaining to statistical analysis and pharmacokinetic studies
• Excellent SAS programming skills demonstrated through substantial hands-on experience
• Proficiency with WinNonlin, nQuery, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to design studies, construct analysis plans, and perform complex statistical analyses independently
• Strong scientific writing skills with ability to produce concise, high-quality study reports and communicate findings to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated expertise creating, understanding, and interpreting statistical graphs, tables, and charts
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with capacity to manage priorities across multiple projects
• Experience supervising technical personnel and training colleagues on statistical methodologies
• Track record of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and client-facing communication
