Lead UI Designer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital agency client seeking a Lead UI Designer to work at the forefront of digital design within a cross-functional creative team. In this role, you will:

• Create digital brand look and feel, design systems, and pixel-perfect responsive interfaces for key clients
• Ensure usability and accessibility standards are met while balancing user and business needs
• Take a systematic approach to design, anticipating future needs and building in flexibility and efficiency
• Lead and support multiple designers, elevating the UI design offering across the team
• Clearly and persuasively communicate the design process to clients from concept to solution
• Proactively own problems and feedback, presenting concepts and design decisions to senior stakeholders
• Serve as a senior representative of the UI and content team within the agency
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions

What We're Looking For

Essential skills and experience:

• Demonstrable eCommerce experience with a compelling portfolio showcasing high-quality online design
• Proven experience creating, evolving, and developing brand identity
• Expertise in creating and theming design systems for multiple brands
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working at digital or creative agencies and/or in-house design studios
• Degree in Graphic Design, UI, or similar discipline
• Breadth of experience across sectors and audiences
