Senior Consultant – Transformation & Business Analytics (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a specialized consulting firm working at the intersection of finance, data, and automation. Our client supports organizations in making processes and data transparent, improving corporate governance, and successfully implementing complex transformations. For their growing team, we seek a Senior Consultant for Transformation & Business Analytics based in Hanover.

In this role, you will take on diverse responsibilities with direct client contact and genuine influence:

• Manage complex transformation projects, coordinating work packages, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision requirements
• Support the consolidation of data, processes, systems, and organizational responsibilities
• Prepare project and steering meetings, develop sound decision templates, and consistently follow up on agreed actions
• Analyze operational and commercial processes and derive concrete improvement measures
• Develop KPI frameworks and define metrics including calculation logic, data sources, responsibilities, and target values
• Gather and structure functional requirements, translating them into clear processes, user stories, and solution concepts
• Design Power BI dashboards from management questions and KPI definitions through mock-ups and drill-down logic to functional acceptance
• Collaborate closely with management, functional departments, and data/IT teams, ensuring clear communication among stakeholders
• Present analysis results in stakeholder-appropriate formats and develop concrete recommendations for action

You will begin with a company-wide transformation project at a leading logistics organization, taking on visible responsibility early. This PMO role goes beyond administration—you create structure, drive decisions, and actively contribute to the project's core challenges.

What We're Looking For

We seek an analytically strong, implementation-oriented professional who maintains overview in complex project environments and independently advances initiatives.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum four years of relevant professional experience, ideally in management consulting, Big Four firms, internal consulting, or comparable transformation roles
• Experience managing your own workstreams with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent understanding of business processes, business analytics, KPI systems, and data-driven corporate management
• Experience in structured gathering and translation of functional requirements
• Very strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI—at minimum in functional design, ideally also in implementation
• Exceptionally structured, reliable, and independent working style
• Confident presence and ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both operational teams and senior management
• Business-fluent German and English
• High commitment and willingness to travel regularly

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain
• Knowledge of master data management, data governance, SAP, or Salesforce
