External Wholesaler – Retail Sales – Dallas / Fort Worth (TX) Territory

About This Role

We are representing a confidential asset management firm seeking an External Wholesaler to cover the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas territory. This is a fully remote position requiring extensive travel (50%+) to build relationships with financial advisors across wirehouse and independent broker-dealer channels. You'll represent a comprehensive suite of investment solutions including mutual funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and ETFs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business plans to grow market share and drive asset growth across the assigned territory
• Serve as a trusted resource to financial advisors, articulating product value propositions and competitive advantages
• Deliver technical product information and market insights leveraging knowledge of capital markets and industry trends
• Collaborate with internal advisor consultants and the broader sales team to drive sales across multiple product lines
• Manage travel and entertainment budget responsibly within assigned guidelines
• Travel frequently throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth region to maintain and expand advisor relationships

What We're Looking For

• Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (preferred)
• Must reside within the Dallas/Fort Worth territory
• Minimum 5 years of asset management sales experience or financial advisor experience, ideally within the assigned territory
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building long-term advisor relationships
• Deep knowledge of investment products including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and capital markets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to build credibility and rapport at all levels
• Consultative sales approach focused on adding value and uncovering advisor needs
• Strong execution skills with ability to monitor performance and pivot strategies based on market dynamics
• Natural curiosity and passion for financial markets and ongoing learning

Pay

This position offers a base salary plus sales incentives. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. The role includes eligibility for an annual sales bonus program.
