Marketing Manager (m/w/d) Startup Environment

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing cleantech startup that is developing innovative renewable energy technology. As Marketing Manager, you will build the marketing function from the ground up and ensure this groundbreaking technology reaches the right audiences across multiple markets.

Your responsibilities include:

• Marketing Strategy: Develop the marketing function strategically and translate company objectives into concrete campaigns and initiatives
• Go-to-Market Execution: Create targeted marketing measures for existing and new markets to support international market development
• Sales Enablement: Work closely with sales and business development teams to create content, campaigns, and materials that effectively support revenue efforts across different markets
• Creative Implementation: Develop new marketing concepts, test unconventional approaches, and bring successful ideas to life quickly and independently
• Storytelling: Translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling, and visually strong content for diverse audiences
• Brand Development: Continuously evolve brand identity, positioning, and visual presence to create a consistent international brand experience
• Communications & PR: Develop external communications including press releases, statements, event communications, and media materials

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in B2B marketing, brand building, communications, PR, or campaign management
• Proven ability to not only develop marketing strategies but also independently execute concrete initiatives
• Understanding of go-to-market strategies and how marketing supports sales and business development in accessing different markets
• Ability to present complex technical topics in an understandable, convincing, and audience-appropriate manner
• Fluent German language skills at C1 level minimum for seamless communication
• Creative personality with courage for unconventional ideas, initiative, and enthusiasm for testing new approaches
• Strong hands-on mentality and excitement about taking responsibility in a dynamic startup environment and building structures from scratch
• Ideally, you can provide examples of unusual or particularly creative marketing initiatives you have successfully developed and implemented
• Experience from a marketing or communications agency, knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma, and interest in cleantech and sustainable technologies are advantageous
