About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital services organization seeking a QA Specialist to join their international team on a part-time, remote basis. This role combines technical website testing with user experience evaluation, ensuring web properties meet quality standards before and after launch. You'll work closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Review new website pages, redesigns, and updates across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices before publication
  • Verify responsive layouts across different screen sizes and major web browsers
  • Identify broken links, missing images, formatting errors, spacing inconsistencies, and visual glitches
  • Test interactive elements including forms, buttons, navigation menus, dropdowns, pop-ups, and CTAs
  • Perform post-deployment regression testing to ensure new updates do not break existing features
  • Document bugs with clear written descriptions, screenshots, reproduction steps, and expected outcomes
  • Re-test completed development fixes and verify resolution before closing tickets
  • Evaluate websites from a customer perspective to identify confusing or frustrating user flows
  • Assess page structure, navigation, information hierarchy, layout, typography, and button consistency
  • Recommend UX improvements to simplify user journeys, reduce friction, and boost conversions
  • Perform routine audits on live websites to catch functionality or usability issues early
  • Analyze user behavior using tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps, session recordings)
  • Flag pages showing high abandonment rates or low engagement to guide optimizations
  • Partner with developers to explain issues clearly and verify technical fixes
  • Help establish standardized QA checklists, issue-tracking frameworks, and launch processes

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in website quality assurance and UX testing
  • Advanced/fluent English (both written and spoken is mandatory)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to spot pixel-level visual flaws and subtle functional bugs
  • Strong grasp of web usability best practices and mobile-first responsive design
  • Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools, bug-tracking systems, and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Clarity, Hotjar, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple QA tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain structured documentation
  • Based in Latin America (Nicaragua or other LATAM countries)
  • Available for part-time independent contractor work
  • 100% remote work capability
