Senior Product Manager, Travel eSIM

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the digital payments and connectivity space. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their travel eSIM product line serving international travelers worldwide.

This is a commercial product role focused on the consumer travel experience, not a telecom engineering position. You will own the complete product roadmap and lifecycle—from catalog and pricing strategy through purchase funnel optimization to activation and retention—competing directly against major players in the travel connectivity market.

Location: Mexico (remote or on-site options available)

Responsibilities

• Own the travel eSIM product roadmap end to end, aligning with market demand and business objectives
• Lead design and delivery of new data plans and features throughout the full product lifecycle
• Conduct market research on traveler needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends
• Own the complete purchase-to-activation journey: browse, purchase, QR/eSIM installation, and first connection
• Oversee development and launch processes to meet quality standards and customer expectations
• Drive key metrics including conversion, activation rates, ARPU, repeat purchase, and margin by corridor
• Manage data-plan catalog and corridor-specific pricing balanced against cost structures, margin targets, and competitive positioning
• Collaborate with roaming and wholesale partners on coverage, capacity, and cost optimization
• Serve as roadmap stakeholder across multiple scrum teams, writing PRDs and driving sprint prioritization
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support on launches and ongoing performance
• Develop sales materials and support B2B onboarding processes

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 4+ years as a Product Manager owning a consumer product end to end—from pricing through purchase, activation, and retention
• Proven experience defining, building, and shipping complex technical products
• Strong collaboration skills working with designers, engineers, and QA in agile environments
• Ability to facilitate technical discussions and provide feedback on technical designs
• Working understanding of eSIM technology (expert-level knowledge not required)
• Product analytics fluency (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Looker, Power BI or similar) with ability to run funnel analysis and A/B tests independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making approach
• Sharp, concise communication skills—able to translate technical or pricing constraints into clear business cases

Nice to Have:

• Direct experience at or competing against a major travel eSIM provider
• Prior experience in travel commerce (OTAs, airlines, hospitality, or related sectors)
