Product Owner (all genders) – Management Suite Tribe

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their endpoint management development team. In this role, you will drive product strategy for core Windows endpoint management capabilities, working at the intersection of technical development, stakeholder needs, and customer value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Take content ownership for two development squads, guiding the evolution of Windows endpoint management features including client-server communication, compliance management, OS deployment, and update management
• Translate technical and functional requirements into clear, prioritized product backlog items with well-defined acceptance criteria
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, development effort, dependencies, and stakeholder input
• Serve as the primary point of contact for development teams on product-related questions, ensuring teams have clarity and can work effectively
• Balance ongoing maintenance, quality improvements, and new feature development
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Support, Consulting, customers, and development partners to gather feedback and define development priorities
• Coordinate external development teams and projects, ensuring clear requirements and seamless integration
• Leverage AI tools pragmatically to support feature definition, requirement structuring, and rapid prototyping
• Work within an agile leadership structure alongside Chapter Leads and Scrum Masters

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product responsibility role within agile software development
• Proven experience leading content direction for multiple development teams and coordinating external development partners
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and backlog management tools (Azure DevOps experience preferred)
• Experience with scaled agile frameworks and practices
• Solid understanding of or keen interest in Unified Endpoint Management, Client Lifecycle Management, and Windows-based IT infrastructure
• Ability to quickly grasp technical complexity and translate it into actionable, prioritizable requirements
• Analytical, data-driven decision-making approach with high quality standards
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
• Collaborative leadership style that creates clarity and fosters open team dialogue
• Bonus qualifications: IT administration background, software development knowledge, Azure technology stack experience, or familiarity with Linux, macOS, Android, or iOS environments

This position is based in Augsburg, Germany, with flexible working arrangements including home office options available.
