About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join their remote team. This is a strategic technical leadership role where you will own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce solutions that directly impact customer experience and operational efficiency across a growing European platform.
Our client operates at the intersection of technology, product, and business, and they need an experienced developer who can architect scalable solutions, mentor team members, and raise engineering standards across their Salesforce environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, and data models with full technical ownership from design through release
- Design and optimize Lightning Web Components with strong performance, thoughtful interaction patterns, and focus on scalable user experiences
- Implement robust security and sharing models including profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level security aligned with Salesforce best practices
- Design and implement integrations via REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, and connectors with resilient patterns, strong authentication, and thorough error handling
- Build within Salesforce governor limits while enforcing best practices for bulkification, caching, transaction management, and asynchronous processing
- Define and champion platform standards, coding conventions, code reviews, and design guidelines as a trusted technical authority
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pair programming, structured knowledge sharing, and pragmatic guidance
- Collaborate with Product, Data, and Operations teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs
- Establish expectations for meaningful unit and integration testing with strong, reliable coverage
- Strengthen observability and maintainability through documentation, architectural decision records, and knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments with a proven track record of delivering impact at scale
- Advanced proficiency with Flows and highly proficient in Apex and object-oriented programming
- Deep expertise with Lightning Web Components including lifecycle management, reactivity, performance optimization, and UI/UX best practices
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security and sharing models with ability to design for least privilege
- Proven experience connecting Salesforce to external systems via REST/SOAP, OAuth, and named or external credentials
- Demonstrated ability to apply best practices for governor limits, bulkification, transactions, async processing, and error handling
- Experience with Git, pull requests, and CI/CD for Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce DX and GitHub Actions)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Must be eligible to work remotely within Germany
Nice to Have:
- German language skills
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Architect track credentials
- Experience with managed packages, platform events, and Data Loader or ETL tools
