Senior Data Scientist, Guest & Host

We are representing a confidential technology marketplace client in their search for a Senior Data Scientist. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is partnering with an innovative platform organization to identify exceptional candidates who can drive data-driven decision making and product development.

This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world, offering the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams on challenging problems at the intersection of product, pricing, and marketplace dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy data-driven products and models, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and impact
• Develop pricing optimization systems and measurement frameworks to evaluate feature launches using experimental and observational methods
• Apply causal inference techniques and machine learning to understand marketplace dynamics and user behavior
• Write production-quality software in Python, SQL, or R to model, simulate, and measure the impact of new features
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover actionable insights that shape product strategy
• Build strong collaborative relationships with Product, Design, Engineering, and Analytics partners
• Prototype, build, and scale derived data assets that enable marketplace growth
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
• Generate intelligent recommendations based on user preference patterns and marketplace signals

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a BS or Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD
• Demonstrated expertise with experimentation, causal observational analysis, and machine learning techniques
• Proven track record partnering with product, engineering, and design teams to enable data-driven development
• Strong coding skills in SQL and either Python or R
• Ability to prototype, build, and scale data products in production environments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Experience building models that impact user experience and business outcomes
• Valid work authorization for your location
