About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential Series A cloud development platform in their search for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. Our client is experiencing rapid growth and building advanced technology that helps development teams work more efficiently with cloud environments. This role focuses on designing and managing secure cloud sandbox infrastructure for a diverse client base spanning startups to Fortune 500 organizations.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates located in Poland, Portugal, Spain, or the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions for customers
- Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance
- Deploy and manage workloads using containerization technologies including Kubernetes and MicroVMs
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Develop automation scripts, cookbooks, and infrastructure tooling
- Maintain and improve cloud sandbox environments that simulate production cloud systems
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Engineer
- 5+ years of hands-on expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudFront
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux systems
- 3+ years of experience with AWS containerized services such as ECS, EKS, and Fargate
- Strong proficiency with containerization tools including Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD
- Expert-level skills in infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform and CloudFormation
- Solid software development background with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Ruby
- Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
- Experience with Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or other major cloud providers is beneficial
