Benefits Call Center Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential business services organization seeking a Benefits Call Center Representative for a remote, full-time position. Our talent team is working exclusively with this client to find compassionate, detail-oriented professionals who can guide beneficiaries through complex benefits processes.

This is a Monday through Friday role with schedules of either 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (selected at the end of training). All candidates must be available anywhere within the 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM window.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls from participants and beneficiaries regarding their benefit-related inquiries
• Answer questions about benefit documentation and kits sent to beneficiaries
• Perform detailed walk-throughs on forms required to commence benefits
• Process stop and reissue cases efficiently
• Handle death benefit kits with sensitivity and accuracy
• Manage email inboxes and respond to written inquiries
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of pension accounts and defined benefit (DB) plans—this is essential
• Strong organizational skills and excellent time management
• Customer service mindset with clear, professional communication abilities
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently in a remote environment
• Home internet connection meeting minimum requirements: download speed ≥25 Mbps, upload speed ≥5 Mbps, ping ≤175 ms
• Ability to connect via ethernet cable to modem/router
• Willingness to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $38,640 - $48,300 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including location, experience, and performance. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses depending on business need.
