Working Student (f/m/d) Strategy & Business Development (AI Taskforce)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the business process outsourcing sector. They operate a global freelance network serving enterprise customers and are embedding AI across their strategic operations. We're seeking a Working Student for a cross-functional AI strategy taskforce based in München.

This isn't a technical engineering role. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, business development, and AI implementation—structuring problems, building business cases, and ensuring AI initiatives deliver measurable business value. You'll collaborate with AI engineers, product managers, and former management consultants, translating between technical possibility and strategic priority.

Responsibilities

• Structure strategic AI initiatives from a business perspective, defining requirements and prioritizing features for development teams
• Analyze complex business questions and build decision-making material using case-style logic for leadership review
• Develop competency frameworks and evaluation logic that improve AI system performance—the content architecture, not the code
• Independently own projects from initial analysis through concept development, including new use cases, workflow automation opportunities, and process improvements
• Support the taskforce on emerging strategic questions requiring analytical rigor and business judgment
• Create compelling management presentations and business cases in PowerPoint and Excel

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or comparable field
• Previous practical experience with strategic or analytical focus
• Power-user proficiency with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT for research, analysis, and structuring—you understand how AI changes business processes without needing to build models yourself
• Strong analytical and structuring skills with confidence in PowerPoint and Excel
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and drive solutions rather than just complete tasks
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English
• Availability of 16–20 hours per week during semester at the München office, with flexibility to scale to full-time during breaks
