About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Poland. This role sits at the intersection of development and operations, where you'll ensure critical systems meet service level agreements while proactively improving scalability, availability, and security across production environments.
You'll be responsible for creating and managing business-critical services used around the clock, working closely with Development and DevOps teams to automate manual tasks, eliminate bottlenecks, and support application release processes. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers from development, DevOps, SRE, or similar backgrounds looking to advance their careers in Site Reliability Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Balance your time equally between building automation software and providing operational support for production systems
- Maintain service reliability by balancing feature development speed with service-level objectives
- Respond to incidents, diagnose system outages, and conduct follow-up analysis
- Perform and assist in root cause analysis and blameless post-mortems to prevent future incidents
- Propose and implement infrastructure and product improvements
- Enhance reliability, quality, and time-to-market for software solutions
- Participate in out-of-hours support rotation based on on-call schedule
- Design, build, and scale components of a global product platform
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Azure cloud platform
- Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Programming skills in Python or Go
- Commitment to code quality: unit tests, integration tests, static analysis, and resilience testing
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL
- Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Strong drive to engineer solutions using industry best practices
- Security-first design philosophy
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn new skills and technologies
- Complex problem-solving mindset with ability to tackle polymorphic challenges
