Manufacturing Data Product Analyst

Deep DSG is recruiting a Manufacturing Data Product Analyst to join our expanding team in a full-time, remote position serving the Raleigh, North Carolina region and our global manufacturing clientele. You'll take ownership of designing and deploying modern industrial data systems that connect plant-floor operations with enterprise analytics, enabling smarter decision-making across manufacturing organizations.

The Opportunity

We're building the next generation of connected manufacturing through unified data architectures and intelligent integration platforms. In this role, you'll partner with our Data Enablement team to architect, configure, and optimize industrial data solutions—from real-time data pipelines to enterprise data governance frameworks. You'll work at the intersection of operations technology (OT) and information technology (IT), translating raw manufacturing data into actionable intelligence that drives efficiency, quality, and visibility across our clients' entire operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Unified Namespace (UNS) implementations and industrial DataOps architectures that serve manufacturing operations.

• Translate complex manufacturing and business needs into scalable data models, system integrations, and technology recommendations.

• Build and manage industrial data products covering manufacturing processes, quality systems, maintenance operations, and business analytics.

• Engineer data pipelines and integration workflows that safely move information from production systems to enterprise platforms and analytical tools.

• Establish data transformation, enrichment, validation, and governance protocols across industrial systems.

• Configure and troubleshoot industrial data messaging platforms, historian systems, data brokers, and middleware solutions.

• Collaborate with OT engineers, IT infrastructure teams, manufacturing specialists, Data Enablement leads, and implementation partners on project execution and delivery.

• Develop, document, and advance technical standards, best practices, and governance structures for industrial data management.

• Participate in solution testing, system deployment, problem-solving, and continuous optimization across all Data Enablement initiatives.

• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends in industrial data platforms, smart manufacturing, and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, industrial IoT architecture, and modern data platform technologies.

• Experience with or familiarity of Unified Namespace (UNS), MQTT, DataOps practices, and enterprise data integration patterns.

• Hands-on capability in designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data models.

• Practical knowledge of industrial data brokers, messaging systems, operational historians, and industrial middleware platforms.

• Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders across manufacturing, engineering, IT, and leadership functions.

• Strong foundation in data governance, data quality, and data management principles.

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to technical detail and commitment to continuous learning in the industrial IoT space.

• Excellent communication skills to bridge OT, IT, and business stakeholder groups.
