About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food manufacturing organization seeking a Database Administrator to join their IT team in Litchfield, Maricopa County. This is an on-site position working first shift. Our client requires a skilled professional to manage database systems across multiple platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and security for mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems across Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL platforms
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies to ensure efficient operations
• Establish and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery procedures to ensure data protection
• Implement and enforce database security policies and access controls
• Ensure high availability of database systems to support continuous business operations
• Perform regular database maintenance, updates, and patches
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
• Collaborate with development and IT teams on database-related projects

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of database architecture, design principles, and best practices
• Demonstrated experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Expertise in backup and recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning
• Solid knowledge of database security protocols and compliance requirements
• Experience with database monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work on-site during first shift hours
