Civil Project Manager – Land Development

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager - Land Development to join our Engineering team in Virginia Beach, VA, US. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional ready to lead infrastructure and site development projects from conception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources across all development phases
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives
• Oversee site inspections, progress reviews, and quality assurance activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and environmental standards
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and correspondence
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve conflicts efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one
• Proven experience managing land development or civil infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, and regulatory processes
• Proficiency with project management tools and construction software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment
