Travel Consultant, Corporate

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential corporate travel management organization seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join their team in Australia. This is a full-time permanent position, hybrid for Sydney-based candidates, supporting business travelers across the APAC region.

As the primary point of contact for corporate clients, you'll manage end-to-end travel arrangements using your expertise in global distribution systems and corporate travel policy compliance. Our client values consultants who can balance efficiency with exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for corporate clients using multiple communication channels including phone, email, and live chat
• Apply strong understanding of client travel policies and provide expert consultation to travelers
• Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations including DOT, TSA, passport, and visa requirements
• Provide comprehensive industry information to clients including fare options, exchange costs, and penalty structures
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and enhance commercial relationships with clients
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across all booking platforms and client communications

What We're Looking For

• Minimum three years' experience as a travel agent within a corporate travel management company
• Mid to advanced proficiency in GDS Sabre (dedicated training provided to strengthen skills)
• Flexibility to adjust roster start and finish times when business needs require
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Solid working knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures, and processes
• Full working rights in Australia
• Customer service mindset with ability to build rapport and trust with corporate clients
