Senior Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food technology client seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Special Operations team in Sydney. This is a 12-month contract position based in Chippendale, working in a hybrid environment. You'll serve as an internal consultant tackling the organisation's most complex operational challenges, from initial scoping through to delivery and business-as-usual integration. These cross-functional initiatives require strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and project manage complex operational and strategic initiatives that align with organisational objectives
• Develop and originate high-impact projects affecting teams, products, customers, suppliers, revenue, and costs
• Partner directly with senior leadership and global stakeholders on innovation projects focused on scaling operations and expanding customer offerings
• Collaborate with product managers and operations teams to assess feasibility of new products and initiatives
• Oversee full operational scoping, monitor implementation, and guide roadmap planning for new projects
• Drive continuous improvement of operational processes and tools
• Liaise with global stakeholders on implementation best practices and market performance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or Master's in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or equivalent qualification
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in food industry or management consulting
• Mastery of project management frameworks and tools with ability to apply them independently
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including solid proficiency with Google Slides and Sheets
• Excellent upward and downward management skills with clear written and oral communication
• AI literacy is essential
• Familiarity with data analytics platforms such as SQL, Tableau, Databricks, or PowerBI is highly regarded
• Proactive, ambitious, and assertive approach with strong ownership mentality
• Roll-up-sleeves attitude to drive workstreams to completion
