About This Position

This is a contract role with SBT Global, Inc., a supply chain and logistics company serving clients throughout Southern California and beyond. As Logistic Drayage Management Staff, you'll support the coordination and oversight of drayage operations—the critical short-haul transportation of containers and freight between ports, warehouses, distribution centers, and intermodal facilities. Your work directly impacts delivery schedules, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Core Duties

• Monitor and coordinate drayage shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery
• Manage driver schedules and route assignments for short-haul freight movements
• Track cargo and containers through the logistics network using tracking systems
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding shipment status
• Resolve operational issues and coordinate responses to delays or complications
• Maintain detailed records of shipments, movements, and logistics transactions
• Support management with reporting and data organization for logistics metrics
