Technical Product Manager – AI Neobank App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial applications across Southeast Asia. Our talent team is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own a critical product vertical within their AI-powered platform spanning payments, remittance, insurance, wealth management, and trading.

This is a remote role working with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones. The position requires strong English communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with international colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own a complete product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery
• Shape technical design alongside engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive complex trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Build regulatory compliance directly into products, covering KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing requirements
• Apply AI capabilities where they demonstrably improve outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Ship products that navigate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, and third-party partnerships
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architectural decisions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation methodologies, reliability considerations, and understanding when AI should not be used

Nice to Have:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
