As a Unit Secretary in the MICU, you'll serve as the administrative cornerstone of a dynamic critical care setting. Core Duties

• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate clinical staff and departments
• Process patient admissions, transfers, and discharges within the MICU
• Maintain and organize electronic and paper medical records with accuracy
• Schedule diagnostic procedures and patient tests as ordered by physicians
• Facilitate communication between nursing teams, physicians, and other hospital departments
• Perform data entry and documentation in medical information systems
• File and manage unit medical records and documentation
• Greet patients and families with professionalism and compassion
• Support nursing staff with unit census management and bed coordination
