Women’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Indiana

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential telehealth organization focused on specialized mental health services. We're seeking a Women's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Indiana to join their collaborative care model supporting pregnant, postpartum, and menopausal patients.

This is a part-time 1099 contractor position offering 5-20 hours per week with fully remote telehealth delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth for patients in the perinatal period and/or experiencing perimenopause/menopause
• Complete pre-conception medication consultations and psycho-education for individuals trying to conceive who are currently treated with psychotropic medications
• Perform asynchronous caseload consultations through review of clinical information and available medical records, focusing on new patients or those not improving under current treatment plans
• Provide treatment recommendations for patients requiring more intensive or specialized mental health care
• Complete documentation for case consultations and direct patient visits within 24 hours
• Work with care managers to oversee assigned patient caseload using the organization's registry system, tracking all patients and prioritizing for case review and treatment adjustment
• Provide educational support to the care team on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions
• Remain available for occasional ad hoc consultations to OB providers during normal working hours; respond to email questions/consultations within two business days

What We're Looking For

• Active psychiatric nurse practitioner license in Indiana
• Ability to practice independently without supervision in Indiana
• Active DEA license in Indiana
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting alongside OB/GYN providers, social workers, licensed therapists, and coaches
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude
• Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data and formulate effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations
• Experience or strong interest in perinatal or perimenopause mental health and collaborative care models
• Passion for improving mental healthcare delivery for vulnerable patient populations

Pay

This is a fee-for-service 1099 contractor arrangement. Compensation structure at the client level includes $125 per 60-minute psychiatric evaluation and $50 per 25-minute psychiatric follow-up visit. Get A Job.ai provides additional support and resources as part of our placement service.
