Managing Consultant – Data & Analytics (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization in München seeking a Managing Consultant for their Data & Analytics practice. In this role, you will guide clients through the development and implementation of data-driven solutions while taking ownership of projects, teams, and client relationships.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading client engagements in data and analytics from strategic conception through successful delivery
• Managing project scope, quality, timelines, and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams
• Analyzing business requirements, processes, and data to develop technical and functional solutions including data platforms, warehouses, analytics, and AI implementations
• Contributing hands-on expertise in data modeling, pipelines, reporting, visualizations, AI agents, and intelligent automation
• Facilitating client workshops and decision-making processes, bridging business and technical perspectives
• Building sustainable client relationships and identifying opportunities for follow-on engagements
• Deploying modern technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, Azure, SQL, Snowflake, and Databricks
• Providing technical leadership and coaching to Consultants and Senior Consultants
• Contributing to practice development through best practices, methodologies, and presales support

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field
• Several years of relevant experience in consulting or data and analytics
• Proven track record designing and implementing data and analytics solutions that connect business requirements with technical execution
• Experience managing and leading client projects across scope, quality, time, and budget dimensions
• Strong client presence with ability to lead workshops and meetings at executive level while building long-term relationships
• Deep knowledge of technologies including SQL, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, data engineering, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI, and AI agents with ideally some experience conceptualizing or implementing AI solutions
• Analytical, structured, and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify client opportunities and translate them into concrete solutions and new business
• Enthusiasm for technical leadership and mentoring with desire to develop team members
• Self-initiative, strong communication skills, and hands-on mentality
• Excellent German and good English language skills
• Moderate willingness to travel
