We are representing a confidential legal technology consulting firm seeking an entry-level Associate Consultant to join their Corporate Legal Solutions practice. This role sits at the intersection of legal innovation and digital transformation, working with corporate legal departments and enterprise partners to streamline processes and introduce intelligent automation. As a Business Analyst & Workflow Associate Consultant, you will serve as a strategic bridge between business needs and technology solutions. You will work directly with legal departments identifying pain points in compliance workflows and designing automation using no-code and low-code platforms. This is a hands-on role with mentorship from senior leaders, ideal for problem-solvers who value innovation, ownership, and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews, research, and process observations to identify automation opportunities within legal operations
- Create process maps, requirements documents, and solution designs reflecting optimized workflows
- Develop and test automated workflows using no-code or low-code platforms
- Troubleshoot workflows not meeting customer expectations and adjust based on evolving user requirements
- Serve as the voice of the user, ensuring intuitive and efficient end-user experiences
- Provide first-line support to users of contract lifecycle management platforms and legal AI tools
- Support data quality, reporting, testing, and administrative activities
- Facilitate workshops, client presentations, and real-time problem solving sessions
- Maintain project ownership, monitoring timelines, scope, and budget to ensure successful delivery
- Deliver client-facing reports, proposals, and supporting documentation
- Build expertise in legal technology tools, workflow best practices, and system integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, legal professionals, and developers
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Four-year undergraduate degree in business, finance, legal studies, MIS, computer science, or similar field
- Three or more years of experience in consulting, legal operations, or process automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially around processes and systems
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Experience creating process documentation and workflow diagrams
- Comfort translating business requirements into technical specifications or configurations
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio or Lucidchart
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn no-code or low-code platforms
- Entrepreneurial mindset that is confident, adaptable, and proactive
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote-first environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with legal departments or related functions
- Demonstrated leadership in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings
- Relevant internships or early-stage startup experience
- Familiarity with platforms such as TAP, ServiceNow, Onit, Checkbox, Airtable, Malbek, or Tonkean
- Passion for legal technology, operations, or enterprise workflow automation
