Field Sales Representative, Mandarin Speaking (Greater London North & East England)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food delivery marketplace client seeking a Field Sales Representative with Mandarin language skills to develop their Chinese restaurant partner network across Greater London North and East England, including Colchester, Chelmsford, Aylesbury, Norwich, and Ipswich.

This is a hybrid field sales role where you'll spend significant time meeting prospective restaurant partners face-to-face, building relationships within the Asian culinary community, and driving new business acquisition in a fast-growing sector.

Responsibilities

• Map, prospect, pitch, and close high-value Chinese restaurant partnerships across assigned territories in London and surrounding regions
• Conduct direct outreach to independent restaurants in Mandarin or Cantonese through physical visits, phone calls, and social platforms
• Manage the complete commercial onboarding process to ensure new partners integrate smoothly onto the platform
• Monitor and support new restaurant performance during their first eight weeks to maximize long-term success
• Build deep knowledge of the regional Asian culinary scene and identify key brands that customers seek
• Travel regularly across London and adjacent areas including Oxford, Cambridge, and Norwich to meet prospects and partners
• Negotiate commercial terms that create profitable, sustainable partnerships

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese with professional negotiation capabilities
• Proven new business acquisition experience with a track record of meeting demanding sales targets
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
• Valid right to work in the United Kingdom
• Willingness to travel extensively across Greater London North and East England territories

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Cantonese
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for regional travel
