Customer Support Officer (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Customer Support Officer for their Berlin office. Our client is a regulated investment platform operating across Europe, and they need a detail-oriented professional to deliver exceptional client service in a dynamic, international environment.

This is a full-time position based in Berlin, requiring fluency in both German and English.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries related to the trading platform, account opening, deposits, and withdrawals with professionalism and reliability
• Ensure all requests are processed efficiently with a solution-oriented approach to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Support clients during onboarding and KYC (Know Your Customer) verification processes
• Maintain and document customer communications carefully for compliance and audit purposes
• Escalate complex or technical issues to the appropriate specialist departments
• Proactively identify potential problems and work to prevent customer dissatisfaction
• Collect and evaluate customer feedback to continuously improve service offerings
• Identify and report suspicious activities, fraud attempts, or security risks
• Collaborate closely with compliance and risk teams to minimize customer risks
• Take on additional tasks and projects based on your qualifications and interests

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in business, finance, or a comparable field
• One to two years of professional experience in customer support, ideally in the financial sector or with a brokerage
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong communication abilities, customer focus, and team spirit
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
