About the Role
As a Software Testing Consultant, you'll partner with clients to design, implement, and optimise their software testing processes. Working remotely, you'll advise on testing strategies, lead quality assurance programmes, and ensure robust software delivery across diverse projects and technology environments.
Responsibilities
- Analyse client requirements and design comprehensive testing strategies tailored to project scope and business objectives
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering functional and non-functional testing domains
- Conduct manual and automated testing on software applications to identify defects, quality gaps, and risk areas
- Provide recommendations for test automation tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Document test results, defect reports, and quality metrics, delivering clear reporting to clients and internal teams
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related testing disciplines
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex testing findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Professional experience in consulting or client-facing environments preferred
