About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential cryptocurrency exchange in their search for a Product Data Analyst to join through their early-career acceleration program. This is a 3-6 month program based in Hong Kong, designed for current students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in product analytics within the digital assets industry.

You'll work directly with senior analysts on conversion optimization, A/B testing, and dashboard development—gaining real exposure to product strategy and large-scale data infrastructure in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and analyze user conversion funnels to identify drop-off points and opportunities for improvement
• Support A/B experiment evaluation including data extraction, cohort validation, uplift calculation, and results summarization
• Create and maintain dashboards tracking key product metrics such as CTR, conversion rates, and user engagement
• Handle ad-hoc data requests from product teams covering user segmentation, feature adoption, and campaign performance
• Write and maintain SQL queries for scheduled data pipelines and assist with data quality monitoring
• Translate analytical findings into clear visualizations and summaries for cross-functional stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
• Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin to coordinate with international stakeholders
• Understanding of A/B testing fundamentals including hypothesis testing, p-values, and confidence intervals
• Strong SQL skills—ability to write complex queries using CTEs, window functions, and subqueries
• Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar)
• Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Natural curiosity to investigate trends and patterns in user behavior data

Preferred:

• Prior internship experience in product analytics or data analysis
• Programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation
• Experience with event tracking platforms (Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or similar)
• Familiarity with Airflow or other data scheduling tools
• Interest in cryptocurrency or fintech
• Experience working with large-scale data in Hive or Spark environments
