Laboratory Technician

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Naperville, Illinois testing facility. This full-time position combines hands-on laboratory work with direct client interaction, supporting the quality and accuracy that defines our testing services.

What This Role Involves

As a Laboratory Technician at Eurofins in Naperville, you'll be at the heart of our testing operations, performing analytical procedures and quality assurance activities that help clients rely on accurate results. Working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, you'll balance technical precision with responsive customer service, ensuring both test integrity and client satisfaction.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and analyze test samples according to established protocols and regulatory standards
• Operate laboratory instrumentation and equipment, maintaining accurate calibration and performance records
• Document test results, observations, and procedures with precision and attention to detail
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with testing specifications
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to track sample status and communicate results
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety practices, and inventory of supplies and reagents
• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and escalate complex problems to senior technicians

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant certifications preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment operation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Clear communication skills for interacting with colleagues and external clients
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a compliant laboratory environment
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
